The Dormer P805 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball nosed cylinder profile (Shape C). The 12.7mm head diameter and 6mm shank fit standard die grinders and air tools. The radiused nose blends into the cylindrical body, producing smooth contoured cuts without the sharp shoulder marks left by flat-ended burrs.

Shape C is the preferred profile for blending concave surfaces, radiusing internal corners and finishing fillet welds where a clean transition is required. The ball nose follows curved surfaces naturally, making it effective for mould and die work, casting cleanup and smoothing compound curves on fabricated parts.

Solid carbide construction cuts mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron and hardened materials up to 60 HRC. The bright (uncoated) finish reduces material loading and allows visual inspection of cutting edges. Recommended operating speed for this head diameter is 12,000 to 20,000 RPM.
