Advertised with a TSTAK II case, but supplied with a standard case
I purchased a DEWALT DCH273P2 kit from Invicta Tools specifically based on the advertised specification, which explicitly stated that the kit included a heavy-duty DEWALT TSTAK II case.
However, the kit I received contained a standard case instead.
I contacted Invicta Tools, and the Operations Manager acknowledged in writing that this was an error on their part. I offered a straightforward solution: to keep the drill, batteries and charger and have the advertised TSTAK II case supplied separately.
What concerns me most is that, despite acknowledging the mistake, Invicta Tools continues to advertise the kit on its website as including a TSTAK II case. The product description still explicitly lists it as part of the package.
The company offered a full refund if I returned the entire kit, but that does not address my preferred resolution: receiving the case that was clearly advertised as included in my purchase.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but I expect a retailer to correct inaccurate product descriptions and make a reasonable effort to resolve problems when customers receive goods that do not match what was advertised.
I am disappointed with how this matter has been handled and would advise potential buyers to check exactly what case is supplied before purchasing.
At the time of writing, the issue remains unresolved.
Works well for raking out old mortar grout between sandstone pavers. Competitive price and fast delivery. Would use again.
I was sceptical at first but after the
Amazon blades wearing every 10 sqm and this one doing 40+ and still sharp,
I am impressed
Blades do the job that I buy them to do. Good quality at a competitive price.
I have bought from Invicta tools a few times and will continue. Great prompt service with no issues to date.
