What is the difference between the DeWalt DT70703 and DT70704?

The DT70703 is Pozidriv-heavy with 22 Pozi bits, suited to general UK construction work. The DT70704 is TORX-heavy with 30 TORX bits, designed for timber frame, decking, and European-style fastener work where TORX screws are standard. Choose based on the screw types you use most.

Are the DeWalt DT70704 bits suitable for decking screws?

Yes. The DT70704 set is ideal for decking work because it contains a wide range of TORX sizes (TX10 through TX40) which are the standard drive type for composite and timber decking screws. The 50mm longer bits in TX20 and TX25 give better reach in deeper countersinks.

Does the DeWalt DT70704 include TORX Security bits?

Yes. The DT70704 includes 8 TORX Security bits in sizes TTX10, TTX15, TTX20 (x2), TTX25 (x2) and TTX30 (x2). Security TORX have a centre pin recess and are needed for tamper-resistant fixings on street furniture, playground equipment and commercial installations.

Does the DeWalt DT70704 case connect to other DeWalt storage?
