The safety features set it apart from cheaper grinders. An electronic clutch detects binding and cuts power, while a separate kickback brake brings the disc to a rapid stop if the tool gets snatched. Together, they make a real difference when you're cutting in awkward positions or working into material where the disc might catch. Soft start brings the speed up gradually rather than lurching on startup, which is better for both control and disc life.

Mesh debris covers over the motor ventilation ports keep grinding dust out of the internals, extending motor life in heavy-dust environments. The rubber overmould improves grip under vibration, and the two-position side handle gives you options depending on cut orientation.
