The DEWALT DW088K is a 2-way self-levelling cross line laser that projects bright crossing horizontal and vertical lines for a wide range of levelling and layout applications. Accurate to ±0.3mm/m, it self-levels on surfaces up to 4° out of true with automatic out-of-level indication, marking a levelled line in seconds. The successor to the popular DW087K, this is one of the most widely used cross line lasers across the UK trade.

Simple two-button operation lets you independently activate horizontal, vertical, or both lines simultaneously. The built-in magnetic pivot bracket with rear-mounted magnets allows flush attachment to metal track and steel studs without additional accessories, and a 1/4" thread accepts any standard tripod. The patented integrated bracket design keeps the unit compact and eliminates the need for separate mounting hardware. Compatible with the DE0892 detector (sold separately) to extend the working range up to 50 metres for outdoor use.

Built to survive site conditions, the DW088K features an overmoulded housing with thick protective glass over the laser aperture, tested to withstand drops of up to 1 metre. The IP54 water and debris resistance rating means dust and splashing water won't affect performance. A locking pendulum protects the internal levelling mechanism during transport and storage. Runs on 3x AA batteries (included) with up to 40 hours of runtime, and a low battery indicator lets you know when it's time to swap them out.

Supplied in a heavy-duty carrying case that also helps maintain calibration when stored in a gang box or van. Includes a wall mount bracket and 3x AA batteries. A reliable, no-nonsense laser level that covers the vast majority of first and second fix tasks on site.
