The Makita DBN900ZK is an 18V LXT cordless framing nailer designed for first fix carpentry and structural timber work. It drives clipped-head and full-head framing nails from 50mm to 90mm, handling the range of fixings needed for stud walls, floor joists, roof trusses, and timber framing. Powered by Makita's 18V lithium-ion platform, it eliminates the need for compressors, hoses, and gas fuel cells on site.
The brushless motor and internal flywheel mechanism deliver consistent driving power into softwood and engineered timber. Depth of drive is tool-free adjustable, so you can set the countersink for different framing applications without reaching for a screwdriver. The selective actuation switch toggles between sequential mode for precise single shots and contact mode for rapid nailing on repetitive framing runs.
Built for site conditions, the DBN900ZK features an anti-dry fire lockout to prevent blank shots, a rafter hook for keeping the tool to hand when working at height, and an LED work light for visibility in unlit first fix environments. The narrow nose profile improves sightline to the nailing point, which matters when toe-nailing into tight joist hangers or working close to edges.
Supplied as a bare unit in a carry case. No battery or charger included. Compatible with all Makita 18V LXT batteries. Best performance with 5.0Ah or 6.0Ah packs for sustained framing work.
