Bond-it PU:30 is a one-part, moisture-curing polyurethane wood adhesive formulated for waterproof bonding to BS EN 204 D4 classification. That D4 rating means it's fully waterproof, not just water resistant, and it's actually seawater proof and resistant to acids and chemicals too. If you're bonding anything that's going to see serious moisture exposure, whether that's exterior joinery, garden furniture, boat repairs or outdoor timber construction, this is the right adhesive for the job.
Sets in 30 minutes and reaches full bond strength in 3 hours with clamping. The solvent-free liquid formula is brown in colour, so it blends naturally into timber joints rather than leaving a visible white glue line. Being a PU adhesive, it slightly expands as it cures when moisture is introduced, filling any minor irregularities in the substrate and creating a tight, gap-free bond. The cured adhesive film is flexible and resistant to both water and frost.
Excellent adhesion beyond just wood. Bonds well to chipboard, laminate, metals, polyurethane, expanded and extruded polystyrene foams, mineral wool, concrete, stone, bricks and gypsum boards. That makes it useful for sandwich panel assembly and insulation work as well as traditional joinery. Apply to one surface (or both if porous), assemble and clamp. Adding a light mist of water to one surface will activate the moisture cure and improve expansion into the joint.
