Soudal Aquaswell Hydro Swelling PU Sealant 310ml

Soudal Aquaswell is a high-quality, one-component polyurethane sealant that swells on contact with water to form a watertight and gas-tight seal. It is specifically designed for sealing pipe and cable penetrations in concrete, as well as construction joints in basements, retaining walls, and below-ground structures.

On contact with water, Aquaswell swells up to 450% of its original volume, creating a robust seal that is watertight and gas-tight up to 5 bar pressure (DVGW VP-601 certified). It reaches 200% expansion after 24 hours and 300% after 72 hours under continuous water load. Critically, it returns to its original shape once the water source is removed, meaning repeated wet/dry cycling does not compromise the seal.

Aquaswell offers excellent adhesion to concrete, most metals, and PVC, and stays permanently elastic after curing. It can be applied on both horizontal and vertical substrates using a standard caulking gun.
