The Makita DLS714NZ is a cordless 190mm slide compound mitre saw powered by twin 18V LXT batteries to deliver 36V performance without the cord. Built around a brushless motor for longer runtime, less maintenance and extended motor life, this saw is designed for site work where mains power isn't always an option.

Despite running on battery, it handles a maximum crosscut capacity of 91mm x 300mm at 90 degrees, making it more than capable for skirting, architrave, decking and general timber framing. The direct-drive gearbox and soft start function give clean, controlled cuts from the first squeeze of the trigger.

Bevel cuts from 0 to 48 degrees left and right, with positive stops at the most common angles. The compact slide system reduces the footprint compared to traditional rail designs, so it sits tighter to the wall on site without sacrificing cut capacity.

Supplied as a body only unit, compatible with all Makita 18V LXT batteries. Pair it with two 5.0Ah or 6.0Ah cells for the best balance of power and runtime.
