What does P3 filtration protect against?

P3 is the highest particulate filter rating, removing 99.95% of airborne particles including fine dust, metal fumes, mist and fibres. It is suitable for the most hazardous dust environments including silica dust from cutting concrete and stone.

What is the difference between P3 and A2P3 filters?

P3 filters block particulates (dust, fumes, fibres) only. A2P3 combination filters add protection against organic vapours such as solvents, paint fumes and adhesive chemicals. Choose P3 for dust-only environments and A2P3 when chemical vapours are also present.

Why choose a large size respirator?

Large size masks are designed for broader facial dimensions. A correctly sized mask creates a complete seal against the skin with no gaps. If a medium mask feels tight on your face or leaves pressure marks, the large will provide a better, more comfortable fit with improved sealing.

Can I wear safety glasses with a full face respirator?

Full face respirators include an integrated visor that provides eye protection, so separate safety glasses are not needed. In fact, wearing glasses underneath can break the facial seal. If you need prescription lenses, check whether the manufacturer offers an internal spectacle frame kit.

How should I store the respirator between uses?

Store the mask in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight and contaminants. Remove the filters if the mask will not be used for an extended period. Keep the face seal clean and inspect it regularly for cracks or deterioration that would compromise the seal.
