The Metabo KGS 305 M is a 240V sliding compound mitre saw with a 305mm blade capacity. It's built for site joiners, kitchen fitters, and shop work where you need clean crosscuts in wide boards, skirting, and framing timber. The sliding head extends the crosscut capacity to 305 x 90mm at 90 degrees, which handles most common timber sections and sheet material in a single pass.
The 1,830W motor delivers enough power for sustained cutting through hardwood without bogging down, and the soft start function prevents the aggressive jerk on startup you get with cheaper saws. A laser line marks the cut path on the workpiece, and the LED work light keeps the cut line visible in dimly lit workshops.
Bevel cuts tilt from -47 to +47 degrees, and mitre cuts swing 50 degrees left and 60 degrees right. The saw head locks in common angles with detents, which saves time on repetitive cuts. Supplied with a 305mm 60T TCT blade fitted, dust bag, and workpiece clamp.
