Makita E-15229 3 Pouch Tool Belt Set

The Makita E-15229 is a complete three-pouch tool belt system built for tradespeople who need fast, hands-free access to tools and fixings on site. It replaces the previous E-05169 Heavyweight Duty Tool Belt and brings significant upgrades across materials, construction and storage layout.

The set includes three pouches, five pockets and 30 holders in total, all mounted on a 40mm quick-release polypropylene belt that adjusts to fit waist sizes from 71cm (28in) to 122cm (48in). Two large, deep main pockets handle hand tools, two front pockets take screws, nails and fixings, and a smaller centre pocket provides additional sorting space. Total capacity across all pouches is 6.5 litres.

3L Technology Construction

Every pouch is built using Makita's 3L Technology, a triple-layer combination of polyester and foam that keeps pouches upright and in shape even when fully loaded. The outer shell is 1680 denier polyester with polypropylene backing, and all stress points are secured with stainless steel rivets and nickel washers for long service life.

Real Leather Holders

Six dedicated tool holders are made from genuine leather at 1.8 to 2.0mm thickness, providing serious durability where it matters most. These include a chisel holder, screwdriver holder, knife holder and universal holder, all positioned to protect against wear from sharp-edged tools.

Compatible with Makita Belt System

The E-15229 integrates with the wider Makita belt and pouch range. Add the Ultimate Padded Braces (E-05393) for heavy load support that distributes weight between waist and shoulders, or the Phone Holder for easy access to your device on site. The optional Strap Belt System (E-05290) allows you to wear the pouches over your shoulder as well as around your hips.
