The Makita DBN601ZJ is a cordless 18V brushless finishing nailer built for second-fix trim work: skirting, architrave, door casings, and mouldings. It fires 16-gauge (1.6mm) straight brads from 19mm to 64mm, covering everything from thin beading to heavier casing in one tool. The brushless motor runs cooler, lasts longer, and on a 5.0Ah battery delivers up to 2,750 nails per charge.
No compressor, no hose, no gas cells. The spring-driven mechanism keeps recoil low and gives consistent depth shot-to-shot. A 110-nail magazine cuts down on reloads, and the tool-free depth adjustment dial lets you fine-tune countersink without stopping work. Sequential and bump fire modes give you precise placement for detail work or rapid contact firing along long runs of trim.
Supplied as a body only in a Makpac Type 4 case. Runs on any Makita 18V LXT battery (sold separately).
