The DCH333N sits at the top of DeWalt's cordless SDS Plus range. Running on FlexVolt 54V batteries, it delivers 3.5 joules of impact energy and drills up to 30mm in concrete. That puts it in the same performance bracket as many corded SDS hammers, which is the whole point of FlexVolt: mains-free power on sites where the generator hasn't arrived yet or where trailing cables are a trip hazard.
Three-mode operation gives you rotation for wood and metal, hammer drill for masonry, and chisel-only for chasing cables or removing render. The brushless motor keeps the battery lasting longer and the tool running cooler. At 3.7kg bare, it's heavier than an 18V unit but manageable for overhead work in shorter bursts.
This is the bare unit. No battery, no charger. If you're already on DeWalt's FlexVolt platform, this saves you paying twice for batteries you already own.
