Bond-it's Mitre Kit is a two-part instant bonding system consisting of a 50g high viscosity cyanoacrylate superglue and a 200ml aerosol activator. Spray the activator on one face of the joint, apply the adhesive to the other, press together and you've got a solid bond in roughly 10 seconds. That's a significant time saving over conventional wood adhesives, particularly when you're fitting out a room's worth of skirting or architrave.

The high viscosity formula is what sets this apart from standard superglues. It resists soaking into porous surfaces like timber and MDF, so you get a stronger bond line rather than losing the adhesive into the grain. The activator also overcomes the curing issues you get on acidic substrates like oak and MDF, where regular cyanoacrylates can struggle to set properly. Non-drip formula, so it holds on vertical applications without slumping.

Ideal for cornice and profile mitres, skirting joints, architrave, picture frames, worktop end strips, PVCu trims and general joinery assembly. Also bonds rubber, metals, plastics and Perspex. Best results on close-fitting parts with a thin bond line. Apply between +5°C and +25°C. Supplied in an industrial shrink-wrapped pack.
