JRT Plasterer's Pink Scrim Tape is the self-adhesive jointing tape that drylining and plastering teams reach for when speed and a clean finish matter. The 48mm width covers standard tapered-edge plasterboard joints in a single pass, and the 90m roll carries a plasterer through a full day of board joints without stopping to reload.
The pink scrim uses a high-tack adhesive with significantly more glue than budget fibreglass tapes, which is what lets it grip cold, dusty or slightly dirty plasterboard without lifting at the edges. Apply straight onto the joint with no pre-bedding compound needed, then run jointing compound or skim plaster over the top. The open mesh weave allows compound to bond through the tape into the board behind, removing the bubbling and blistering that ruins a flush finish on the second coat.
Suitable for taping plasterboard joints, reinforcing internal corners alongside angle bead, and patching cracks in existing plaster before overskimming. Compatible with all standard jointing compounds, setting-type fillers and one-coat plaster. The 48mm width is the workhorse plasterers' size, wide enough to fully cover a tapered-edge joint and feather cleanly under the next coat without telegraphing through the finish.
Supplied as a single 90m roll. Trade buyers running boarding-out crews should stock by the box.
