Why does a fibre cement blade only have 12 teeth?

At around 10 to 20 times the cost of a TCT blade, the PCD version pays for itself if you cut fibre cement regularly. A standard TCT blade may last 1 to 2 sheets before dulling, whereas a PCD blade can handle hundreds of cuts. For occasional use, a cheap TCT blade may suffice.
