What grits are included in the Bosch Palm Sanding Sheet Set?

The 10-piece set includes 3 sheets at K40 coarse grit, 2 at K80 medium, 2 at K120 fine and 3 at K180 very fine. This gives you a full progression from material removal through to finish sanding in one pack.

What sanders are these Bosch palm sanding sheets compatible with?

These sheets fit the Bosch PSM160A, PSM80, PSM80A, PRIO and Skil OCTO 7208 palm sanders. They use Velcro hook and loop attachment for quick sheet changes between grits.

Why do these sanding sheets have holes in them?

The perforation pattern matches the dust extraction ports on compatible Bosch palm sanders. This allows the sander vacuum to pull dust through the sheet during use, keeping the surface cleaner for a better finish and extending sheet life.

What is the difference between the K40 and K180 sheets?

K40 is a coarse grit for fast material removal, stripping paint or shaping wood. K180 is a fine grit for final finishing before applying paint, varnish or oil. Work through the grits in order from low to high number for the best surface finish.

Can you use these sheets on metal or just wood?

These aluminium oxide sanding sheets work on wood, painted surfaces and some soft metals. For harder metals or specialist finishes, dedicated metal sanding products would be more appropriate. The reduced space between sheet and machine ensures efficient material removal on all compatible surfaces.
